Many folks will have attachments which would be best matched with a hover adjustment: shoes, bicycle, worn-furniture, etc.
This suggestion is relatively simple. Since the HUD already relies upon RLV, the HUD can send RLV signals to adjust the hover of the AV on the fly.
- When creating a base body, there would be a default hover (used for bare feet) for that base body.
- When the AV is sitting on an external object (detected by the HUD), any current hover level would be removed so the furniture can do the height adjustment.
- When the AV adds items with the wardrobe it will adjust the Hover to the value set by the Wardrobe Item.
- When the AV removes items with the wardrobe it reverts to the default for the base body
This would then remove the need for many folks to have a variety of hover-adjustment items that may be attached.
