In many cases, when the posestand backdrop is rezzed on one floor, it extends through a higher floor.

You can adjust the size of the backdrop using your HUD when you are posing on the stand:

Click the HUD's menu button (the one with the three green lines on the 1o'clock position), then "Config Stand" > Size, and choose the appropriate size.
